So a little while ago, I sneaked a summer break to catch some winter sun down in Miami. Now, for all you Londoners – you must have that sudden urge every now and then to jet-off on a holiday by the beach just to break up the cold. The question is, when all your favourite stores are selling autumn/winter fashion – and you don’t want to repeat your entire summer wardrobe – what do you wear?
For me, I always go with putting together a capsule wardrobe full of your must-have pieces (think jeans, tees, sandals, and that must-have LBD) – but then I change things up by buying into a few new items which are easily versatile! What’s better then a summer item you can also wear back to work, in the fall, and for multiple occasions?
So for a day out and about in Miami’s hottest new shopping area, the Miami Design District, I wore a classic pair of straight-leg jeans paired with a Nanushka vegan leather shirt from Farfetch, a Gucci bag via Catwalk Club and slip-on heels. Farfetch have an amazing selection of items in general, but for when you’re jet-setting off to a warm destination (with little to no time to shop!), they are one of my go-tos!
