That Parisian Summer Feeling

Paris is so endlessly beautiful during the summer months. There is that feeling of romance in the air, of subtle lust, relaxation, and the ‘calm before the storm’ before the fall season hits and the weather cools down.

It was my first summer spent in-between London and Paris, as I usually travel to boiling hot Miami. But this time I gave up the beach to enjoy some quiet time in my beloved city, Paris, whom I’ve never loved so much than during summer! The city almost switches off and becomes tranquil; it just feels so perfect.

These images were shot in one of my favorite districts, on the famous streets of Rue de Rivoli, known for its most fashionable boutiques. I have always loved to dress up, and walking along the quiet street of Rue de Rivoli, glancing in the windows of the closed shops for the day, I truly felt like I was in a movie. There is something so magical about Paris when the city feels almost deserted.

For this shoot, this fabulous two-piece ensemble by fashion label Fabitoria, (whom I’ve worn previously here and here), was the perfect look for the location. Elegance, sophistication and modern beauty are words I think of when strolling on these streets: so a well-excuted, fresh and chic all white outfit couldn’t have suited the location any better.
