THE SUMMER WEDDING EDIT | with COAST

In this special Wedding Edit I’ve partnered with Coast to show you my ultimate wedding guest attire, as well as my top tips on dressing for the occasion! With Spring in full bloom and summer right around the corner, it’s the season of love and celebrating unforgettable moments.. In case any of you might have a wedding coming up, a summer event or if you’re just looking for some inspiration – then this edit has got you covered! I am so excited to show you my take on occasion-wear for this season, in a beautiful editorial shot by the talented Edward Berthelot around the streets of Paris!

If I were attending a beautiful summer wedding this season in France, this is the outfit I would wear. In this moment I am completely obsessed with florals – a floral printed skirt, trousers or top, it is such a trendy look for the season and so suited to any style. The one I fell in love is the Ameliana Jacquard maxi skirt from occasion-wear brand Coast: it feels so luxurious and flattering, with a large satin floral print and a dramatic flair. This skirt is such a show-stopper on its own, and it’s so versatile to wear! I’ve decided to pair it with a delicate black lace top to create some contrast in textures and print, and I went for black to keep the colors subtle. Glamorous, feminine and sweet!

Finding the perfect dress is always a little difficult, but finding the perfect wedding guest attire is even trickier! For a special day should come a special outfit – and there is certainly something for every taste and style..

When occasion-wear shopping I keep a few things in mind: the style I am going to go for (whether it is a maxi dress, a midi, separates or trousers), the color palette (suited for the season and event, it can be luxurious dark tones, elegant pastels or bright shades), and finally the print (are you going for a minimal design, bold shapes, florals or simply no print?). I love to take inspiration from designer Resort collections and magazines when looking for the ideal attire I will be wearing, and I always make sure to dress for the occasion and to stay true to my own style! The best outfit in the end is the one that really shows who you are, and the one you feel most comfortable and beautiful in!

Once you’ve got the perfect outfit, you’re going to need to find the perfect jewels.. I always look for the ones that match the best – from the color of the metal to the theme of the jewelry, and of course to your personal style.
