THE STUDDED MILITARY COAT

Military-inspired pieces, and in particular the military coat, have become a big trend this Autumn/Winter. From being seen on the runway in shows such as Isabel Marant, the military khaki color has invaded the high street with fashionable and affordable designs! My personal favorite is this studded military coat from Choies, adding an edgy twist that compliments my style perfectly!

The military look has been seen everywhere in these past few months, and so I’ve come to conclude that I like it best paired with destroyed denim jeans, or even oversized jeans (which I don’t have), bold jewelry like a long pendant necklace and statement bracelets, and shoes in the Dock Martens style or with a high platform. So that is exactly what I wanted to show you today: my way of styling the edgy military coat.

What I also love about this Choies coat are the different details embellished on the sides, such as the many silver studs and cool patches! The material isn’t very warm but I definitely will take this coat out during the winter with a chunky sweater underneath and knee high-boots! You can really have a lot of fun playing with the style of this coat! So what do you think, do you like the military trend?
