THE SPRING BLOOM TREND x KURT GEIGER

The Spring bloom trend, not revolutionary or groundbreaking, I know, but this season floral patterns took an unexpected turn towards a more edgy, garden-party and feminine look that everyone can wear! Slowly shifting from the more classic print, you’ll find dresses, trousers, tops, and even bags taking inspiration from nature. With Spring/Summer in full bloom, this season designers and retailers have really upped their game with some of the most beautiful styles the ‘floral trend’ has seen!

My take on the Spring bloom trend is just as much about how you wear florals then it is about the print. Whether it is romantic Spanish-inspired florals, whimsical embroidered ones, small prairie flowers or graphic prints – this season has got it all and there is a look for everyone! Yet to make the Spring bloom trend look fresh, vibrant and new again, we’ve shook things up a little and started combining two floral pieces in one – for a higher-impact and fashion-forward look!

Wearing the Spring bloom trend is as easy as that; it’s about versatility, mixing colors and patterns to create an eye-catching outfit. You can choose to style it with a matching-coord, with a separate floral printed top and bottom, or even pairing printed trousers with an accessory to match! When I came across the trend once again in early April, for the first time I’ve felt inspired to actually wear florals. In collaboration with the brand Kurt Geiger, I’ve decided to style their beautiful Limited Edition tote, which is the perfect combination of festival-ready and floral, with a classic and feminine look that sports the Spring bloom trend!

This Kurt Geiger bag has been my go-to accessory as I’m obsessing over the white and blue color-blocking and sequin patches that remind me of summer! It is such a fun piece to instantly add a bit of flair and vibrancy to a look, and it looks amazing paired with the floral print!

  1. I agree that this season is bringing out so many gorgeously unusual and unique floral designs, particularly when it comes to accessories! I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this Kurt Geiger tote (speaking as someone who’s smitten with their shoes!), the explosion of colour is incredible and I adore the embroidered patches. You look beautiful!
