Today I’m showing you a look with a pop of color featuring some of my favorite new season trends: flowers, pastels and metallics. This look has it all: is it daring or sweet? I’d say a little of both. ;)
Flower-print dresses are a must-have for me at the moment, and this one from Fashion Union couldn’t be more perfect! It’s bright, colorful and really puts me in the spring mood. I would just like to say a big thank you to the lovely Fashion Union team who has sent it to me! This may just be the prettiest flower dress that I own, and I feel so feminine and chic wearing it!
A flower dress, a pop of color and Paris’ famous artist district Montmartre in black and white isn’t all to pull off this look. I decided to pair the dress with a bold purple crop jacket from Catherine Malandrino (a very chic and stylish brand), matching metallic heels by Schutz and my new little treasure: the pastel blue Coach bag. To finalize, some much needed accessorizing (two gorgeous bracelets and a white shark-tooth necklace) from my favorite jewelry brand: Stella & Dot. I’ve been wearing Stella & Dot in almost every outfit! Their jewelry is so versatile and suitable for simple or fancy looks. Although all these details work together to make the outfit really stand out amongst the busy Parisian crowd, the item that is the centerpiece above all is my fabulous Bright Bloom Floral Shift Dress by Fashion Union. The dress is the perfect mix of fun and flirty, and couldn’t suit the spring mood any better than it does! I strongly suggest you head over to their site for a look; they’ve got the most modern and stylish pieces!
The city of Paris, as you have heard more than once from me, is my beautiful hometown and my little escape. It’s so much fun to explore the streets of timeless Paris even though I’m a Parisian myself, and in doing so I find all kinds of hidden secrets and spots to take pictures. The district where these pictures were taken is one of my favorites: Montmartre. It’s a young and vibrant area (also known as the home of artists), and it’s such a great place to be on sunny days like this one, where you’re surrounded by creative minds different in many ways but still like yourself. I’ve decided to make the background of some of the pictures black and white so that the bold flower-print dress really stands out. What do you think of it? Does it work? I think this is my favorite and most creative look yet!
