Polo Bar at The Westbury Mayfair

In the heart of Winter in London, I had the incredible opportunity to enjoy an evening of indulgence and luxury tasting at award-winning Polo Bar at The Westbury Mayfair hotel. Hidden in the center of London’s most exclusive fashion and shopping districts, Mayfair, is the charming and ultra chic Polo Bar – known for its elegant interior, pleasant bar staff and a list of delicious cocktails that bring a little surprise with every sip.

The Polo Bar, a secret gem amongst the busy London streets, has recently launched a new Winter cocktail menu, bringing warming drinks and simple comfort food as an addition to their exuberant and classic list. Creativity is brought to an entirely new level, where fashion and food form a fusion of heavenly flavors and ingredients that make the Winter months rather pleasurable. Invited for an evening out at the Polo Bar, it had been a wonderful experience – from the tasty food to the extraordinary cocktails, which included spiced flavors, grapefruit tea, elderflower, cinnamon and other incredible concoctions.

Greeted kindly by the Polo Bar’s warming bar staff, I was brought to my table in the elegant and classic bar and introduced to the Winter menu. We were brought a selection of handpicked cocktails by our Head waiter, each accompanied by a small flavorful dish to indulge in…

Renowned for its most exceptional cocktails, I have had the pleasure to taste a couple different drinks from the Winter menu, my favorites being the Pomegranate Deluxe, Bombay Sapphire gin with elderflower, lemon and fresh pomegranate, and the Brazilian Kiss, a gin infused with apricots and lavender syrup. A heavenly mix of sweet sour, with small bites such as Halloumi, Octopus and Frangelico Cornettos.

Overall a very warming experience which blew me away with such tasteful flavors! An evening well worth it and indulging, I hope to enjoy the Polo Bar at The Westbury Mayfair some time again.
