This look is inspired by Brigitte Bardot’s famous pink gingham checked dress, which she made extremely popular. It’s a classic, vintage print still very much used today. This checked dress was actually one she wore to her wedding to the actor Jacques Charrier, which entirely influenced fashion. The dress she wore was by the french designer Jacque Estral.

I absolutely wanted to wear a piece of clothing that truly represented the icon Brigitte Bardot, as this brand dedicates their designs to her style after all.
