PARISIAN ROMANCE

Hello girlies! It’s been a little while that I haven’t been writing, but I can tell you – things have just been absolutely crazy these past few weeks! I have to say, time just sometimes slips through your fingers and before you know it another day is gone.. But a lot of exciting things are happening, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

The biggest news.. is that I have just moved out of my home in London to take on a new life in another country! Beautiful London has been a place I called home for two and a half years already – it’s where I started my blog, immersed myself into the world of fashion and began living independently with my boyfriend! A lot of wonderful memories are in London, so as difficult as it might have been to leave, I couldn’t be more thrilled to move to a new city and start a new exciting chapter in my life!

Of course, I won’t be leaving London for good – I will actually have more of an opportunity to travel and will be living in between London, Paris and my new home, which I will tell you more about later on. But as you can imagine the moving out process had been so hectic and stressful. Packing literally everything you own and had gathered over the years, transporting it all on the plane and unpacking once again – that had been what consumed my life recently! And should I also mention my university exams happening around the same time, just before moving? Well, everything is settled now and I’m in Paris for a few days before heading on a tropical holiday – another thing I am so excited about sharing with you!

But talking about Paris, my beautiful city, I wanted to share these images shot on the stunning Pont Alexandre III a few months back! There is just something so romantic and effervescent about Paris that I can always feel – it’s a city where I feel magic could truly happen, even if I had been living here my whole life! So I thought the perfect place to really capture these feelings is Pont Alexandre III, not only because of so much history but because it is such a majestic location. The river Seine beneath your feet, the golden and opulent decoration on the bridge and the Eiffel Tower in the background.. That, for me, is what romance in Paris is all about!

Wearing a delicate yet empowering and very romantic look inspired by old-time glamour, it was my version of finding love in Paris.. The scene couldn’t be more ideal, and with a long navy skirt (vintage), a cropped lace top and luxury statement jewelry to add opulence, I myself have fallen in love with this little Parisian fairytale!

I hope you will enjoy these images, I truly wanted to capture that feeling of a Parisian Romance with beautiful shots and a feminine, old-glamour ‘à La Française’ look! Let me know your thoughts and I will see you soon!

Xx Bibi

  1. Such an elegant look, I always love how you style your jewelry. You have an eye for pieces that are timeless and a classic. Of course, anything with the Tower at the background, sparks romanticism ;) xx

Congrats on the big move; I know moving can be stressful and definitely time consuming, but it’s great when it’s all done and you’re all settled in :) I look forward to the great news you’ll with us in upcoming posts; have a wonderful day!
