I know that the Spring/Summer ’15 Press Days are now long gone, and that Fashion month has begun to arrive, but nonetheless there was still one Press event that I hadn’t yet shown on my blog…
The Coast SS15 Press Day was simply a daydream: all the pieces in the new collection are so beautiful and have such vibrancy that really brightens up your mood! The theme of the collection is Modern Muse: meaning ‘relaxed, contemporary and optimistic’ in the brand’s own words. Pop of color, bold prints and feminine silhouettes are main patterns seen in the collection, all inspired by the coming Spring season.
Coast took inspiration from the sculptured figures in the 60s, bringing back clean cuts while adding their own modern twist. Of course, romance is a powerful theme as well, brought to life by the floral and lace embellishments on the designs. It is a beautiful and luxurious collection: simple and modern, delicate and sharp. This is by far my favourite from Coast, and I cannot wait for these pieces to hit the stores!
