London Fashion Week x Closet London

London Fashion Week SS16 Streetstyle

This London Fashion Week season has been absolutely amazing, from seeing some of the best and most ‘avant-garde’ shows to the dinner parties and fun photoshoots in between all of the craziness! Fashion Month is certainly the most exciting event for bloggers, as there’s the opportunity to network and meet new people, discover new talents and designs, and of course show off our different styles to the whole fashion scene!

During Fashion Week I love to dress up and be a little daring, but I also want to stay true to my style and wear something stylish, feminine and edgy! For Day 2 of LFW I decided to wear this gorgeous wide sleeved dress from Closet London. As you all know I’ve recently become obsessed with bell-sleeves, so this was a more subtle way to showcase it! I also instantly fell in love with the print – it’s vibrant and has an air of mysterious that completely stands out on its own, plus the fit is so feminine and chic!

To complete the look, I paired my Closet dress with a leather belt on the waist from Italian brand Luca Michele (which is actually a part of one of their coats), girly pink Miu Miu heels and a matching faux-croc backpack from Mi-Pac! Mixing different types of styles together, such as this exuberant print combined with very feminine and luxurious shoes, is something I love to do as it creates a unique look!

My makeup for the day was done by talented Alina Milos, who is currently working on her own beauty line as well! I wanted to go for a look that stands out but is sophisticated, using midnight blue and cream eyeshadow shades to create a smokey eye that matches the tones in the dress! We used a shiny and natural pink lipstick color, one of Alina‘s own products, to enhance the final look. My makeup has honestly never looked so good!

I have to say, the second day of London Fashion Week has been the busiest for me yet, as I had more than ten shows to attend (running around in heels certainly didn’t help).. but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this craziness and live for these moments as you know you are one step closer to your dream! That being said, I am now continuing my Fashion Week journey in Milan for MFW, so be sure to follow me on my Instagram (@bibigoeschic) and Snapchat (@bibigoeschic) for live updates while I’m in Italy!

I hope you like this look! What do you love most about Fashion Week?

    1. Thank you so much Kelly, I’m so glad you like the look! For the fashion weeks, my advice is to contact both PR agencies working for the brands you want to attend and the brands themselves – be sure to sell yourself in your email and you’ll manage to get some invites ! :) x

  1. Bibi, first off, I’m so glad I found your blog today! You are absolutely stunning! The addition of the belt as seer genius! It adds a nice contrast in texture and helps to pull out the green in your dress. Those shoes are also pretty amazing!

What I love about NYFW is the street style inspiration, as well as being introduced to emerging designers. The rush, the business, though very hectic, never seems to get old :)

I hope you have an amazing time and enjoy MFW!

    Have a wonderful day :)
