LFW DAY 1 WEARING SONIA RYKIEL AND SAZ SHOES

Day one of London Fashion Week kicked off with a bang this season! With a great line up of shows from Eudon Choi, Bora Aksu and Paul Costelloe, each designer brought something signature yet something unique to spark attention on the first day!

Style is all about individuality and showing who you are as a person, whether blogger, buyer, designer – and that is why Fashion Week has always been an exciting time for me. You have the ability to truly be yourself but with no boundaries, you can experiment with fashion, wear the craziest and coolest things and make yourself stand out from the crowd!

The look I wore today was all about that: letting my signature style of chic and feminine show, but adding a touch of edginess and fun with the shoes! Recently I’ve really been obsessing over a total black look, I feel that it’s chic and glamorous and can suit any occasion. Black may be simple, but there are so many ways to vamp it up and create an eye-catching look! I’ve decided to go for lots of layering, wearing several pieces (a top, skirt, sweater and sleeveless jacket) all from Sonia by Sonia Rykiel!

To go with it and add that pop of color – and because a ‘Fashion Week’ outfit should always have a statement, I paired the outfit with these super cool and fashion-forward SAZ over-the-knee boots in turquoise suede. Very beautiful and special from the front, and once you turn around it’s a party from the back with black fur behind and a wooden block heel! I absolutely love this unique and quirky brand SAZ, with such a strong vision for fashion and craftsmanship. Each pair is handmade!

But lastly, you all know how I love my jewelry and believe that no look is ever complete without the right pieces to compliment it! With delicate details such as this stunning deep blue crystallized Caravelle NY watch and Rue Gembon Lana rings – this is my final look for the first day to kick off London Fashion Week!
