Today I wanted to show you a look I wore in Berlin when I was there during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. This was certainly not my out-and-about outfit (oh no, it was way too cold!), but rather it was my afternoon brunch outfit in between shows.

Looking back at MBFWB, I still can’t believe that I was there! It all happened so fast, and before I knew it I was on the plane heading to a city I’ve never been to before to see numerous fashion shows in only a couple of days! But oh was it such an exciting, fast-paced and incredibly fun trip!

Although the whole three days were pretty hectic, I managed to fit in some visiting just to iconic locations in East Berlin, such as Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall. I’m hoping to go again next season! But reminiscing on MBFWB is making me think of London Fashion Week, which is beginning this weekend! I am so thrilled to have been invited to some shows, so I will get the chance to fully experience LFW for the first time!

About this outfit: I wanted to go for a cozy and feminine look with an oversized sweater dress, knee-high boots, a quilted Chanel bag, fancy gloves and an animal print scarf! It definitely wasn’t weather appropriate but what can I say, sometimes it’s necessary to sacrifice ourselves in the name of fashion, right?
