A few days ago I had visited the King’s Canary salon in London to get a haircut. As you might know from experiences yourselves, cutting your hair is always a little nerve-racking – but as my hair was quite damaged with split ends from having kept it so long for many months, I’ve decided to give it a go!
It was my first time heading to the King’s Canary, and what I loved at first glance was the amazing location not far from the bustling Oxford Street area. The salon felt so cosy and welcoming, with the interior a style unique to its own! Stan, the co-owner of the salon, had given me my haircut, and for hours we chatted about all things hair, fashion and work – and it was so pleasant to see how passionate he is about his salon and what he does!
Going in I hadn’t yet decided what it was I wanted to do with my hair – stay very long or cut shorter? Stan had given wonderful advice and really thought about what would suit me best! So about 5 inches off, I couldn’t be any happier with the result and the new fresh cut he had given me! I also had a wonderful blow-dry done with soft, natural waves, and it looked absolutely stunning.
I would definitely recommend to anyone living in London and looking for a warming, comfortable and great salon to go to – the King’s Canary is the one! It’s so important when getting your hair done that you feel good and confident your hairdresser will give you what you want! That’s how I felt the entire time I was having mine!
A huge thank you to The King’s Canary for having me and for my beautiful new cut!
