ERIN GREY COUTURE

This past Friday, I had the honor to have been invited to attend the Erin Grey Couture Fashion Show on the opening night of Couture Fashion Week in London. The event took place at the world-known Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge, where we enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour before the show. I can definitely say that it was a night I will never forget!

First, it’s more than a pleasure to begin by introducing Erin Grey Couture to you and the concept of ‘creating your couture’, in the designer’s own words! With every piece in the collection you can mix n’ match a top with a different skirt, creating the dress you have envisioned for your special day! Erin Grey Couture is all about creating a look that you love and making your dream dress come to life, which in itself is a reason why I truly believe in the brand so much!

The collection that went down the runway this Couture Fashion Week is one of exquisite bridal wear; with each gown showing us it’s beauty and elegance. The versatility of this ideal leads us into a fairy tale where we can turn our dreams into being and creating our own unique style! The designer of Erin Grey Couture, C.J. Bostrom, has been inspired by cities she traveled to all across the world when creating this luxurious bridal wear collection. In particular, a long white gown with a black feather wrap, one of my favorites, was inspired by New York City – a dramatic and feminine look reminding me of a powerful city where magic comes to life.

On that night, Erin Grey Couture really captured the magic and beauty of bridal wear couture. Each and every piece that floated down the runway had such a unique air – overall a collection that is easily versatile and suitable for many different tastes. Besides having a front row seat for this extraordinary event, one of the best parts of the evening was having the opportunity to meet the designer C.J. Bostrom in person, where I was able to ask her some questions and talk about fashion!

Through my eyes, I try to express in words what I experienced as each dress breezed along the twinkle-lit runway surrounded by bouquets of gorgeous flowers. The dresses, the ambience, and the entire experience was so breathtaking that I never wanted the evening to end!
