The way you dress says a lot about you. In my opinion, street style says a lot more because it is a style entirely unique to you, and you can shape it in whichever way you wish.
The way a person dresses often changes depending on the season and the location in which that person lives in. When I moved to London, I came to realize that I started to dress different than when I lived in Paris. London’s vibrant atmosphere and my active lifestyle here led me to be attracted to a different fashion sense – one that I truly embrace because I feel it shows a lot about me growing as a person.
London’s fashion is much more creative than that of Paris: people are wearing what they want and as they wish, and I was amazed to see so many colors on the streets. The typical Parisian colors (I find) are blue, black, white, red, beige and brown. But in London, individuals are embracing their love for color.
Although I didn’t choose a color-oriented outfit, I did choose one with prints and jean (which make a statement on their own). These sweatpants by BCBGMAXAZRIA are the perfect combination of casual and dynamic, and in terms of warmth, well they suit London’s weather conditions perfectly (I was lucky the sun came out when the photos were shot though!).
These days I’m really into sports sneakers; I feel that they go well with street style in general, and they are extremely comfortable to wear. But over the recent years denim has come back into style. In this outfit I’m only wearing a denim shirt, but I will eventually create an outfit for the blog in all jean.
I hope you all liked this look! (this is my typical casual-going-to-school-weekday-look :D )
