This is the year of the Brow – from Kylie Jenner’s perfectly defined brows to Cara Delevingne’s full and heavy brow, they’ve become our new obsession and a key part of our everyday makeup routine! In collaboration with Browcote, I wanted to show you my brow routine and give you some tips on how I get them to look full and natural, as well as last throughout the entire day. So just keep reading!
STEP 1: Outline
Naturally I have quite thick and dark brows, but the hairs are sparse in certain areas and my brow isn’t as long as I would like. Everyone has a certain “routine” when they do their brows just as the rest of the makeup, and how I like to make them out is long and full, whilst still looking natural.
The first step in my routine is to draw a line down the end of the brow to the point where it meets the corner of my eye. I then outline the top of my brow as well, lightly filling in any sparse areas with my Brow Pencil from M.A.C Cosmetics.
STEP 2: Fill in the Brows
For the next step I fill in my brows with a shadow that matches my natural color, which in this case the Brow Zings kit from Benefit Cosmetics is the perfect fit! Using a Brow Line brush I shape my brows with the wax and then go in with the powder to fill in the areas and make them look full and defined!
STEP 3: Keep in place!
Last but not least, taming your brows to keep them in place all throughout the day. This step is my favorite, because my brow routine isn’t complete without my go-to product of the moment: Browcote clear brow gel! I’ve been using this product for the past month now and it has completely changed my brow game as I hadn’t used brow gel on my eyebrows before!
Browcote is perfect to keep your brows in place, it’s extremely long-lasting and waterproof so you don’t have to worry about your brow makeup coming off at the end of the day or smudging. I also love that it’s travel size, so it’s super practical to carry around with you in your makeup bag! All you have to do is apply one coat of the gel to each brow once they are done, and it gives you a natural, beautiful and tamed brow – a must-have in your brow routine!
I hope you have enjoyed this little brow tutorial, how do you style your brows and have you ever tried Browcote? I’m also hosting a giveaway on my Instagram page where you can WIN the ‘Perfect Brow Kit’, featuring all the products I have used in this routine and more! It’s the last day to enter, so head over to take part! #TheBrowIsNow
