A DAY AT THE CHELTENHAM RACES

Hey everyone! On the 11^th of March I had the amazing opportunity to attend Ladies Day at the Cheltenham races, courtesy of EtailPR, along with other lovely bloggers! It was my first time attending Cheltenham, or any race actually, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect of the day – all I knew was that it was going to be fun!

My day at Cheltenham began very early: I woke up at 5:30 am to catch the 7:30 am bus, which dropped us off directly at the races, so coming from London it couldn’t be more practical. Upon arrival I was greeted by the members of EtailPR, where we then were completely spoiled with delicious food for lunch and of course, afternoon tea! Seated in a VIP room with several other bloggers, we enjoyed a day full of excitement as the races began! Unfortunately I didn’t place any bets… I don’t know the game well and didn’t want to end up losing constantly, but if I go next year I think I’ll try it just for the fun!

As the theme of the day was #ColourMeMarch, I decided to go for a very pastel and feminine look, wearing a custom made dress in colors light pink, yellow and baby blue. The highlight of this outfit, without a doubt, is the hat! You can’t go to the Cheltenham races without a statement hat! This one is a vintage Fête à Tête that I borrowed from my grandma (she certainly had the right piece for the occasion)! So all in all a very fun day! What do you think of this look?
